Mrs. Charlene B. Clanton, 89, of Shelbyville, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2018. Charlene was the daughter of the late James Buddy Bowers and Annie Dean Bowers. She was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Stinnett and Dorothy Clift. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles M. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Rev. Ron DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow at Short Cemetery at Spring Place in Marshall County. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, 5 pm. to 8 p.m.
