Carrie Mae Dunivant, age 72 of the Spring Place community, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Mrs. Dunivant was a native of Coffee County, Tennessee and daughter of the late Herman Andy and Addie Baily Cobb. She was retired for Sanford Corporation and was a member of Church Street Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Dunivant. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Tracy) Dunivant of Lewisburg; two sisters: Faye Wise of Lewisburg and Mattie Wisdom of Shelbyville; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery.

The family was at London Funeral Home Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. for visitation.

London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
