Mrs. Carlyne White Pinkston, 96, long-time resident of Crieve Hall area in Nashville TN, died Thursday, November 4, 2021 at NHC Adams Place in Murfreesboro.

A graveside service for Mrs. Pinkston were conducted Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Polk Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Martha Minardi and Dr. Ray Miller officiating. The family visited with friends at Crievewood Baptist Church, 480 Hogan Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37220 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oakes and Nichols Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements. The family suggests memorials be made to Lynnville Rail Road Museum c/o Lynnville City Hall, Lynnville, Tennessee 38472 or Crievewood Baptist Church, 480 Hogan Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37220.

Born on October 9, 1925, in Giles County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Carl F. White and the late Essie Mae Coffey White. Mrs. Pinkston graduated from Jones High School in Lewisburg, TN Class of 1943. On January 24, 1977 she married Billy Freeland Pinkston who preceded her in death in 1977. She enjoyed working in her yard, attending exercise classes and spending time with her friends and family. Mrs. Pinkston was a member of Crievewood Baptist Church and was an active and faithful member until her death.

She is survived by several cousins and friends.
