Bruce Wayne Baggett, 57, a resident of Waynesboro, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Wayne County Nursing Home.
With military honors, Bruce will be memorialized at Nashville National Cemetery at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born in Thomasville, Ga. on Aug. 20, 1956, Bruce was the son of the late Raymond Baggett and Annette Vonier Baggett, who survives. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, was a member of the Baptist church, and had previously worked in auto body repair.
In addition to his mother, Annette V. Baggett, he is survived by his sisters, Antonia "Toni" (Randy) Natschke and Terry Natschke; brothers, Raymond (Bobbie Gail) Baggett, Frank (Peggy) Baggett, and Steve (Rosemary) Baggett; his former wife, Lory Baggett; stepson, Jeffrey Weatherington; and stepgranddaughter, Keyaira Lynn Weatherington.
