Brownie Ruth Haislip, 82, of Belfast, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Haislip was a native of Marshall County. She was a housewife and a member of the Cane Creek Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Brown and Ruby Bearden Jones; and son, David Wayne Haislip.

Brownie Ruth Haislip
Brownie Ruth Haislip, 82, of Belfast, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Haislip was a native of Marshall County. She was a housewife and a member of the Cane Creek Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Brown and Ruby Bearden Jones; and son, David Wayne Haislip.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Everage "Bud" Haislip of Belfast; daughter, Cathy Parr of Hillsboro; granddaughters, Cindy Melton of Manchester and Julie Lincoln of Columbia; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will be at London Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
