Bobby Miller Nichols, 79, of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, at Lifecare in Columbia, TN. Graveside services were conducted Friday, Nov. 6, 2020at Lone Oak Cemetery.
Bobby was a graduate of MCHS and MTSU. He and his family lived in Franklin for 37 years. He loved his work as a Public Health Environmentalist with Metro Nashville and had a hard time retiring, continuing to commute after moving from Franklin to Culleoka. He was tireless and selfless, stubborn, a hard worker, always giving and unconditionally loving. He was a charter member of the Mooresville Baptist Church.
His memory will be treasured always by his survivors; wife Sara of Lewisburg; son, Judson and daughter-in-law Robin of Knoxville; niece, Janet McDowell Wright of Kennesaw, GA; nephew, David McDowell of Vail, NC; and cousin, Nancye Hager of Kings Mountain, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, R. G. Nichols and Lurene Miller Nichols of Lewisbug; and sisters, Nancy Reed of Lewisburg, and Dean “Dot” Ferrell of Franklin.
A Celebration of Life will be announced after the pandemic. “Grace will lead us home”
