Bob Hendricks, 58, of Chapel Hill, departed this life on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at his home.
Bob was born in Muhlenberg County, Ky., grew up there and in Evansville, Ind., and moved to Nashville where he met and married the love of his life Wanda (Hudgins) on Sept. 5, 1976. Together Bob and Wanda built their life and home of over 30 years in Chapel Hill, and their own business, H & H Mechanical Services, Inc.
Bob leaves behind a lasting legacy of love that, along with wife Wanda, also includes daughters, Amanda (Hendricks) Bair and Erin (Hendricks) Alvarado; sons-in-law, Mike Bair and Alex Alvarado; parents, Payton and Norma (King) Hendricks; brothers, Bill Hendricks and Paul Hendricks; and sisters, Shirley (Hendricks) Smith and Jean (Hamilton) Joublanc.
A celebration of his life will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial contribution may be made to Linda's Hope at www.lindashope.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
