Billy Joe Wright Sr., 69, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Wright was a native of Prospect, Tenn., and son of the late Mayburn and Elizabeth Russell Wright. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Fisker Wright, in 2012.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Joe Wright Jr. of Petersburg and Jimmy Lee Wright of Lewisburg; two daughters, Teresa Tull and Tammy Williams, both of Lewisburg; four brothers, James, Jerry, Emmett, and David Wright, all of Lewisburg; three sisters, Ruth Ann Henson and Alice Pearl Thomas, both of Lewisburg, and Betty June Stokes of Unionville; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, in Sunset Park.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour for visitation.
London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
