Billy Clifton Chunn, 79, of Cornersville, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Trim Kerchivel Chunn and Annie Sue Chunn. Billy Clifton Chunn

Billy Clifton Chunn, 79, of Cornersville, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN.

He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Trim Kerchivel Chunn and Annie Sue Chunn. He was a co-owner of Grady Ingram Grocery, life-long farmer, equipment salesman, spent thirty years with the Genesco Corp., and attended both the Cornersville Church of Christ and Westvue Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Lee Chunn, (04/30/2019), son, Dennis Trim Chunn, (02/01/2002), brother, Jeff Chunn, and sisters, Sue Childers and Vivian Jean.

He is survived by daughter, Debbie (Dwayne) Briggs, Lynnville; three grandchildren, Taylor Chunn, Lynnville, Davida (Justin) Wilson, Martin, Dustin Briggs, Lynnville; five great-grandchildren, Annslee Wilson, Wyatt Wilson, Clara Wilson, Newt Wilson, Hoyt Briggs; many loving nieces and nephews, along with many many friends.

The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at 2 p.m. from chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN 37047 with Rick Rolin and Jimmie Jean officiating and burial to follow in Brick Church Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornersville Church of Christ Building Fund, Cornersville Church of Christ Youth Group, or the Brick Church Cemetery Fund.
