Bessie Mae Russell, 78, died on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, in St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville.
She was born in Lynnville on April 2, 1935; her parents were the late Earl and Jennie Mae Henson Fralix. She was retired from Sunshine Cleaners.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Russell, and brother, Earl Wayne Fralix.
She is survived by he daughter, Diane Russell Cox and husband Darrel of Pulaski; brothers, Jerry and Johnny Fralix, both of Lynnville, and Terry Fralix of Lewisburg; sisters, Peggy Osborne of Lynnville and Mildred Graves of Lewisburg; special friend, Wendell Rowe of Pulaski; grandchildren, Edward Shackelford and wife Amanda, Sean Shackelford, and Cody Cox; and great-grandchild, Bryson Shackelford.
Funeral services were on Sunday, Aug. 25, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lynnwood Cemetery.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
