Bessie Kay Redd Clark Colvett, 56, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Colvett was a native of Bedford County, and daughter of the late Wallace Marvin and Mary Kathryn Grant Redd. She was a nurse for 25 years and was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Kay Clark Gooch and Jennifer Lynn Clark Coward, both of Lewisburg; two brothers, Wallace Redd Jr. of Clarksville and Danny Redd of Lewisburg; and three grandchildren, Jackson Wallace Coward, Taylor Brooke Ingram, and Kaylee Grace Gooch.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 12, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Raby Cemetery near Lynchburg.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
