Barry Paul Smotherman, 63, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, March 22, 2018, in Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Barry was a native of Hati, MO, born on August 19, 1954, son of William “Bill” and Doris Clark Smotherman. He was an electrician with Nichirin when he retired and a member of Hardin Chapel Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his father, Bill Smotherman, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Smotherman of Lewisburg; one son, Josh (Angie) Smotherman of Lynchburg; mother, Doris Jean Smotherman of Weatherford, TX; two step sons, Justin Boyce and Keith Boyce of Lewisburg; two brothers, Michael Smotherman of Dallas, TX and Kevin (Debbie) Smotherman of Weatherford, TX; and five grandchildren, Lilli Boyce, Emma Boyce, Amanda Womble, Ava Womble, Ayden Womble.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home and burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family was at London Funeral Home 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
London Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
