Mrs. Amy Taliaferro Fagan, 55, of Unionville, TN, formerly of Chapel Hill, TN, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2021. A daughter of the late Richard Moore Taliaferro and Linda Faye Beasley Taliaferro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Lynn Taliaferro; grandparents, James Horace Beasley and Clara Stephen Miller Beasley, D.K. She is survived by a daughter, Caitlin Fagan Burns and husband, Joe, of Chattanooga, TN; a son, Cale Fagan of Chattanooga, TN; the children’s father and dear friend, Ricky Fagan; a sister, Lori Batey (Keith) Burnette, of Roxboro, NC. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many, many “adopted” children who lovingly called her “Momma Amy” – a title cherished greatly by Amy. Much loved as well, were her very special and deeply loved grand pups Sophie, Allie and Huxley.
A Celebration of Amy’s life will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors, Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery.
