Allen E. Vore, 97, resident of Lewisburg, died peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at his residence.
Graveside services were conducted Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Middleview Memorial Gardens on Nashville Highway with Pastor Joe Boyd officiating. The family requested that masks be worn at graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
He was born on May 17, 1923, in Monroe MI, to the late Fred Vore and the late Amelia Brey Vore. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Vore was an avid golfer and attended Life Song Family Church.
Survivors include his sons, Danny (Gayle) Vore of Lewisburg, Gary (Margaret) Vore of Weekiwachee, FL, Michael Vore of Spring Hill, FL; daughter, Nancy Brock of Lewisburg; eleven grandchildren and seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wives, Ruth Vore, Wilma Vore, Joyce Vore; son, David Vore; brothers, Herman Vore, Marvin Vore; and sisters, Nola Alberts, Shirley Brittan.
Active Pallbearers included Matt Brock, Mitch Brock, Mark Brock, Chris Vore, Jeremy Vore.
