Alice Lee Duncan Ball of Birmingham, AL, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2020, at home surrounded by her family and friends. Alice Lee was born in Lewisburg, TN on Aug. 11, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Jesse Mae Duncan and her brother, Richard Eugene Duncan. Alice Lee Duncan Ball of Birmingham, AL, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2020, at home surrounded by her family and friends.
Alice Lee was born in Lewisburg, TN on Aug. 11, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Jesse Mae Duncan and her brother, Richard Eugene Duncan. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Earl Ball; two sons, Michael Duncan (Rhonda) Ball and John Lawrence (Wendy) Ball; two grandchildren, Connor and Madeline Ball.
She was a 1964 graduate of MCHS and a 1968 graduate of Peabody College. Alice Lee taught school in Springfield, TN for five years and at Jefferson County, AL for 25 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, a faithful follower of her Christian beliefs, and a strong prayer warrior.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date.
