Adan Humberto Raffo, 89, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Sunday night, Aug. 9, 2020, in Callao, Peru.
Born on Dec. 18, 1931, in Cerro Azul, Peru, he was the son of the late Atilio and Esther Raffo, and the late Zoila Raffo. He happily lived in Lewisburg with his wife “Nena” Raffo for 27 years. During his time in Lewisburg, he celebrated retirement from Pliant Corporation with friends and family. He was a master handyman and craftsman. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, eating ice cream on the beach, and fishing. Adan was a jack of all trades. He loved his wife fiercely for 64 years and was only separated from her by death for seven days before joining her again in heaven. He was a strong and supportive family patriarch, loved by all.
He was predeceased in death by his wife Esther Margarita “Nena” Raffo. He is survived by his son and grandchildren, Vitto (Lisa) Raffo of Lewisburg, Nena Raffo (Will) Bowman, Cece Raffo (Brandon) Johns, and Sophie Raffo; three daughters and grandchildren, Silvana Raffo of Lima, Peru, Carlos (Mariana) Lanfranco Raffo; Cecilia Raffo of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ian (Jennifer) Castro, Leyla Pazos (Keith Porter), Mayra Pazos (Michael) Costanzo, Jario (Diana) Pazos, Tamara Pazos; Fiorella (Max) Leon, Renato Leon and Ximena Leon; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was laid to rest in Callao, Peru beside love of his life, “Nena” Raffo. At this time, services and celebrations of life will be announced at a later time.
