Bulldogs bowl winners for second consecutive year For the second consecutive year, the Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs (6-3) capped off a successful season with a post-season bowl victory. The Dawgs traveled to Blanche to Jim Cooper Field on Monday to do battle with their namesakes in the Second Annual Cooper Bowl and mounted a second half comeback to secure a 22-6 victory... more
Falcons 14  Saints 13 Falcons prevail in a game dominated by defense The Falcons got on the scoreboard first with Zorian Pullen scoring on a 6 yard run right before halftime. Shavian Edmiston ran in the extra point to make it 7-0. The Saints answered back to start the second half when Miciah Greer broke free for a 67 yard touchdown run. ... more
For the second time in three years, the Jr. Tigers reached the pinnacle as the top team in the Tennessee Youth Baseball Association. This year they did it in the 11-12 year-old age group. Two years ago, the Tigers claimed the title in the 9-10 year-old division. Last year, the Jr. Tiger travel team decided to skip this tournament in order to play USSSA tournaments in Georgia and Florida, which allowed them to play some of the most competitive teams in the eastern United States... more

This sport, trap shooting, will test a participant's hand-eye coordination and nerves, and at the same time instill gun safety, commitment, responsibility, leadership and teamwork.
