A man described by his step-son as a "master tinkerer" who turns sticks into ink pens and planks of wood into furniture has been authorized by a quasi-judicial panel in Lewisburg to expand a garage for his workshop. Citizens of Marshall County Crime Stoppers has paid its first reward and the money was issued within a month after the new organization was announced, according to the sheriff's detective captain. "We got a tip on two wanted subjects," Detective Capt. Norman Dalton said Friday. "One is incarcerated here and the other is incarcerated in Pontiac, Mich. MILLTOWN -- A fire that started at a stove or electrical box practically burned a Marshall County couple's home to the ground on Friday morning as three fire departments and two county agencies could only contain the blaze. The home of Victor and Deloris Jean Griffin of Milltown Road was fully engulfed in flames at about 9 a.m. . He said he thought the fire started at the electrical breaker box.
