A child was flown to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt Saturday afternoon after being hit by a car in Lewisburg. Jerry Wayne Roberts, 52, of Dodson Drive, told Officer Brad Martin that a red and white truck, possibly a Chevy or a GMC, had hit him while he was walking in the Wal-Mart parking lot soon after 6 a.m. March 1.
