A County commissioner has resigned her seat because she has moved out of the district she was elected to represent. A Columbia man was transported to Vanderbilt to be treated for stab wounds after being attacked in Lewisburg last Thursday. The man who stabbed a fellow Hispanic last week is still at large, according to Detective Sergeant Jimmy Oliver of the Lewisburg Police Department. Oliver interviewed the victim, Saul Ortiz, while he was still a patient in the trauma unit at Vanderbilt last week. Oliver said Ortiz selected Artemio Castillo, 34, from a photo line-up.
