The Forrest Lady Rockets managed just three hits and one lone run off of East Robertson pitcher Kelsi Mason, who got plenty of offensive support from her Lady Indian teammates in a 6-1 win in the Region 5-A title game in Chapel Hill Wednesday night. A Lewisburg man was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and aggravated domestic assault after allegedly breaking into an apartment where he used to live and beating up his former girlfriend. Lewisburg Middle School has opened its greenhouse with plants for sale. Tomato plants, pepper plants, herbs, annuals, perennials, and flower baskets are all for sale. By a narrow margin, Marshall County's School Board approved a new organizational chart for the Central Office on Monday night and it doesn't include the jobs of four current employees. The 5-4 vote came after 45 minutes of discussion.
