Marshall County High School found the new leader of their football program on Thursday afternoon when Aaron Pitts was officially named the head coach of the Tigers.
Having served as an assistant coach at MCHS from 2007-09, Pitts had taken over as Stratford High School's head coach this past semester, but applied for the job at Marshall County because he enjoyed his first stint with the Tigers.
"It just feels like home. I fit here and feel at home here," said Pitts. "There's a comfort level because I still know some of the guys when I was here before and have kept in touch with some of them."
