Earlier this month, Cornersville, Forrest and Marshall County High Schools attempted to play in the Wells Cup, the county-wide, three-day tournament in which each school hosts a day of play on the golf course, but rains forced the cancelation of the first attempt.
Last week, the three schools finally got on the course at Saddle Creek, but again were met with uncooperative weather as storms forced the cancelation of play after just two holes played.
The makeup dates for the other two days of the tournament are scheduled for August 24 at the Lewisburg Recreation Center golf course and on August 31 at Henry Horton.
