Tubie Beatrice Sykes
Tubie Beatrice Sykes, 90, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, June 19, 2021, at her residence.
She was a native of Pikeville, KY, the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Goldie Hobbs Coleman. She was a retired door greeter for Walmart and was a member of the Baptist church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents that raised her, Ada Kendrick Hobbs and George Hobbs; son, David V. Sykes; sister, Allie Newsome Salsbury; and brother, Johnnie Newsome.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen (Clarence) Hall of Lewisburg, TN and Deloris (Richard) Hinger of Farmington, MI.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 11 a.m. from London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 4 until 7 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, June 24, 2021, until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to In His Image Pregnancy Resource Center or Hopetown.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
