Spot Lowe students place in competition

On Monday, Dec. 2, eleven students from Spot Lowe Technology Center participated in the Fall 2019 - Cosmetology Competition, at the Georgia Career Institute in Murfreesboro.

Carlee Gevedon from MCHS, placed first in the Fantasy Makeup competition and received a $6,000 scholarship.

Yesimar Sanchez, also from MCHS, placed second in the Artificial Nails competition and received a $4,500 scholarship.

Robin Oberlander from Cornersville High School, placed third in the Haircut competition and received a $3,000 scholarship.

The scholarships will be applied to tuition costs, etc. only at Georgia Career Institute if the student(s) choose to attend this institution.

These students are under the instruction of Genia Borton.
