Marshall County High School senior standout Zack Sheppard is going to keep on running as he recently signed a Letter of Intent with Martin Methodist College in Pulaski to join the cross county squad.
Sheppard is the first ever college cross country signee from MCHS.
A four-year letterman for the MCHS cross country team, Sheppard appeared at the Region 4A/AA Tournament all four years with his best finish coming in his sophomore season when he crossed the finish line in 15th place.
As a senior, Sheppard took the Best of Marshall title at Henry Horton State Park and also had second place finishes at the Webb School Meet and the Southern Middle Tennessee Ring Farm Meet.
