Sharon Dockery, 67, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at her residence. She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Thomas Burgess and Mrs. Joie Ingram Burgess. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Carter Callaham; a brother, James Leslie Burgess; three sisters-in-law, Annie Ruth Callaham, Marvelee Durham, Patsy Burke; and a brother-in-law, James Kenneth Dockery.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Roger Dockery; two daughters, Amy Renee (Jeffery) Pickard of Petersburg and Megan Callaham of Nashville; a brother, Gary (Janice) Burgess of Lynnville; two sisters, Claudia (Stanley) Davis of Ardmore, AL, and Rhonda Woodward of Cornersville; brothers-in-law, Billy Dockery of Detroit, MI and Charles Dockery of New Iberia, LA; aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN 37047, with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery in Ostella. Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
