Richard Louis Hanson, 79, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at his residence.
He was a native of Detroit, MI, the son of the late Frederick Nicholas and Florence Louise Hanson. He was retired from the General Motors Corp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Hanson.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Calahan Hanson, Lewisburg, TN; step-daughter, Charise (Tommy) Fitch, Lewisburg, TN; sister, Rosemary Covert, Buena Park, CA; and two grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will begin Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN 37091 with cremation to follow.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
