Pastor Richard Allen Bradford, 62 of Priceville , AL., entered the Gates of Heaven on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, with family by his side.
Richard was born in Montgomery, AL on October 8, 1958. He was raised in the Prospect / Minor Hill area and graduated from the World Vision Bible College in Georgia. He was a beloved husband, father, Pastor and friend. Richard had a passion for the outdoor life, playing golf and being surrounded by nature. But greater than his love for the outdoors, he loved his family and was passionate about sharing God’s Word. Richard answered the call to ministry 30 years ago and dedicated his life to serving others, his community, and being a reflection of God’s Love. Richard worked as the Senior Pastor for New Life Church of Lewisburg, faithfully serving for 9 years.
Richard is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diana Clark Bradford, two daughters, Bridget Bradford and Crystal Bradford and four grandchildren.
Richard is proceeded in death by his parents, Robert Max Bradford, Sr and Eula Bell Linzey Bradford.
Celebration of Life for Pastor Richard A. Bradford will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Cornersville Funeral Home in Cornersville, TN from 4- 8 PM. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the New Life Church property located at 591 W Ellington Pkwy in Lewisburg at 10:00 am burial to follow in Mars Hill Cemetery. If rain is expected, services will take place at the Greater First Baptist Church located at 512 6th Ave in Lewisburg.
He was a native of Montgomery, AL, the son of the late Robert Bradford and Eulabell Linzey Bradford. He was a minister and was the pastor of New Life Church in Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Life Church Building Fund and Hopetown.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
