Ray Owen Green, 73, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Williamson Medical Center. He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Raymond and Helen Austin Green. He was the owner of Ray’s Lock and Key and was a member of the Presbyterian church. He served many years in law enforcement eventually serving as Lewisburg’s Chief of Police. Ray Owen Green

Ray Owen Green, 73, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Williamson Medical Center.

He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Raymond and Helen Austin Green. He was the owner of Ray’s Lock and Key and was a member of the Presbyterian church. He served many years in law enforcement eventually serving as Lewisburg’s Chief of Police. He was the first person from Marshall County to graduate from the FBI academy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his faithful canine companion, Buster Green.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lynn Haskins Green; one son, Pat (Stephanie) Green of Belfast; three daughters, Earline Warren of Lewisburg, Darlene Worley of Lewisburg, and Connie (Tommy) Coates; two sisters, Mary Massey of Nashville and Felecie Doggett of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, TN 37091 with burial to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
