Patricia Kate Nix Moore, 75, resident of Lewisburg, died peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at her residence with her husband and children by her side.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, October 1st at 2 p.m. at Lone Oak Cemetery with Brother Don Hudson officiating. There will be no public visitation.

Honorary pallbearers include Leon Oliver, Luke Bowden, George Moore, Clinton Moore, Bobby Reid, Carl King, James Allen Gipson, Bill Nix, and John Christmas.

A Lewisburg native, she was born on July 14, 1947, to the late James Hobart Nix and the late Mary Lou Christmas Oliver. Patricia was a licensed beautician for many years, before starting a family. A dedicated wife and mother, first & foremost, she treasured her children and grandchildren, and embraced every moment with them. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, George Park Moore of Lewisburg; daughter, Shawn Georgette Tankersley of Cookeville; son, Clinton Park Moore of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Georgana Grace Tankersley of Cookeville; Lucas Williams Bowden of Ft. Sheppard, TX; cousins, Glenda Poarch Reid (Bobby), Elvonda Gipson King (Carl); and step-father, Leon Oliver. Also, surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Hobart Nix.
