Marshall County’s positive COVID cases continue to increase, spurred by the delta variant of the original virus.
As of Tuesday, August 16, the county showed 246 active cases.
One month ago, on July 16, the county had 12 active cases recorded.
Active cases have more than doubled since the start of the school year.
On August 2, the half day to begin the year, there were 106 active cases.
Since August 2, the county has added 25 positives in the birth to ten years age category and 67 positives in the 11 to 20 years ago age group.
