Michael "Red-Willie" Spivey

Mr. Michael Spivey, 66, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Dec. 25, 2021, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at noon, on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, at Farmington Baptist Church with Brother Danny Jones officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the noon service at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born Jan. 13, 1955, in Lewisburg, TN, Michael was the son of the late Brence Spivey and the late Mabel Stinnett Spivey. Mike was a graduate of Cornersville High School and an active member of Farmington Baptist Church. Mike enjoyed a number of activities including spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, watching football, Nascar, Gunsmoke and Andy Griffith. Most of all, he had a love for Jesus and Willie Nelson.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Rita Spivey of Lewisburg; daughters, Wendy (Darryl Henry) Spivey of Pulaski and Misty Spivey of Chapel Hill; brother, Gary Spivey of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Kelton Spivey, Kalyssa Bills, Takeo Bills, Devyn Henry.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Jean Spivey.
