A Lewisburg native, he was born on August 7, 1950 to the late Vergil Cheatham and the late Mildred McCrory Cheatham. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Cheatham; brothers, Paul (Mary) Cheatham of Cumming, GA, Charlie (Lynna) Cheatham of the South Berlin Community; and several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
