Matthew Ryan Looney, 32, of the Spring Place community, passed away on March 29, 2021, at Maury Regional Health Center.
Matthew and his twin, Justin Looney, were born in Maury County. He was the son of Ricky and Donna Douglas Looney. Matthew was a printer operator and a member of the Richland Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Matthew loved golf and was a loyal UT fan.
Matthew was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary Douglas.
In addition to his parents and twin brother, Matthew is survived by his maternal grandmother, June Douglas; paternal grandparents, Hubreen and Jean Looney; sister, Amber Douglas; brother, Andrew Looney; nieces, Sophia and Grace Looney; and nephews, Mason and Jacob Looney.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Friday, April 2, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Richland Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, April 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cornersville Funeral Home.
Cornersville Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
