Lockard Odell London, 91, of Lewisburg, died Monday, March 22, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Lockard Odell, Sr. and Edrie Foster London. He was a Lewisburg City Policeman and retired from Lewisburg Industries. He retired from the National Guard and was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-granddaughter, Hannah Hastings.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Ann Hudson London; one daughter, Amy (Mickey) Byrd; sons, Jeffrey London of Lewisburg and David (Kim) London of Lewisburg; step-daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Perry of Lewisburg; step-son, Mark (Jamie) Hastings of Cumming, GA; two grandsons, Esau Byrd and Christopher (Julie) London; granddaughter, Ashley Singleton; step-grandchildren, Justin (Sara) Perry, and Seth Hastings, Jennifer (Oakey) Gaskill, Jaymond (Melaina) Perry; four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, March 26, 2021, at noon at Lone Oak Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation with the family will begin Friday, March 26, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at London Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth Ministry at East Commerce Baptist Church or University of North Georgia/Hannah Hastings Memorial Scholarship.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
