Larry Wardell Harwell, 83, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Maury Regional Hospital.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Calvin Harwell and Nellie Plummer Harwell. He retired from Sanford after 47 years as a supervisor and was of the Church of Christ faith. He worked at the convenience center on the Fayetteville Highway, enjoyed going to visit the Amish, and riding around talking to people.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Ring Harwell and brother, Calvin Harwell, Jr. He is survived by three daughters, Christy (Kenny) Stinnett, Mandy (Corey) Poarch, Cindy (Rick) Farmer and son, Larry (Debbie) Harwell, Jr. all of Lewisburg; sister-in-law, Joy Harwell of Fayetteville; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
