It's been a tough start of the season for the Forrest Lady Rockets, dropping two matches to start the season this week.
On Monday, the Lady Rockets traveled to Unionville and took on a veteran Viqueen team that qualified for the state sectional a season ago.
Community won the match convincingly, posting a 25-9 Set 1 win, and followed with a 25-8 Set 2 victory.
The Viqueens finished the match with a 25-2 win in the third set.
Community 3, Forrest 0
Set scores: 25-9, 25-8, 25-2
Cascade 3, Forrest 0
While the offense was difficult to come by on Monday against the Viqueens, the Lady Rockets did show some improvements on the scoreboard on Tuesday at Cascade, despite falling in straight sets.
Cascade pulled away in the first set, 25-12 and followed with a Set 2 win by the same score.
The Lady Champs finished the match with a 25-10 Set 3 victory.
