Mr. John H. Moses, age 70 of the Caney Spring Community of Marshall County, died Saturday morning, April 24, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Moses was born in Columbia, Tennessee and was a son of the late Kennie Crutcher Moses, who died in 1982, and Mayna Laws Allen Moses, who survives.

John was a project manager for Truette Construction Company of Lewisburg, Tennessee and was also a farmer and former accountant. He was a member of the Caney Spring United Methodist Church and was a member of the Board of Directors of Duck River Electric Corporation, and a member of the Chapel Hill Lions Club.

Mr. Moses is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vicki Moses, Caney Spring Comm.; daughters, Laura Lawson (Chad) Turner, Columbia, TN, Rebecca Moses (Matthew) Blount, Caney Spring Comm.; mother, Mayna Laws Moses, Caney Spring Comm.; brother, Sam (Teresa) Moses, Caney Spring Comm.; grandchildren, Lauren Turner, Laney Turner, Easton Blount, Blaine Blount, Grayson Blount; great grandchildren, Marlee Jo Helton, Averlee Mae Helton.

Visitation will be Monday, April 26, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Holton, Ray Buchanan, Dwight Rowe, Randall Hammack and John Derryberry officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring Community.

Jeff Andrews, Alex Andrews, Patrick Jordan, Donnie Moses, Jerry Hooper, Dave Langford and Joel Mayo will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Lewisburg Animal Clinic, Board of Directors and employees of Duck River Electric Corporation, Employees of Truette Construction Company, Keith Farms Family and Employees, and SAE Middle Tennessee Beta Chapter, Fall Pledge Class of 1971.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Caney Spring United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4419 Thick Road, Chapel Hill, TN 37034.
