John D. Gorney, 59, born Dec. 19, 1962, in Toledo, OH, died Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Maury Regional Hospital. He was a resident of Lewisburg.
He was the son of Mr. John and Mrs. Linda Henderson Gorney of Ohio. He was a cabinet maker for the Bill Derryberry Company and a member of the Catholic church.
He is survived by his parents; wife, Michelle Hooten Gorney; daughter, Krystal Gorney of Toledo, OH; and two sons, Adam Gorney of Toledo and Johnny Gorney of Lewisburg; sisters, Linda (John) Gabbert of Lewisburg, Bonnie Gorney of Alabama, Mickaela (Jerry) Branstutter of Toledo, Allison Gorney of Michigan; brother, Pete (Sherry) Gorney of Toledo, Matthew Gorney of Ohio; grandchildren, Aria and Zoey Gorney of Lewisburg and Tyler Bench of Toledo, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, at 6 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, at 4 p.m. and will continue until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
