Jessica Hammons McGhee, 46, a native of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at her home in Davidson County.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jessica was born Jan. 24, 1974. She graduated from Marshall County High School in 1992. She was currently employed by Ingram Book Co. of LaVergne, TN. Jessica had an exceptional love for animals. Her dog Sassy will miss her greatly. Jessica and Sassy had an indescribable bond of love for each other. She had a loving and forgiving heart. She was a member of the Church of Christ and she will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by her father, Al Hammons and step-mother, Brenda Wallace Hammons of the Rover community in Unionville, TN; daughter: Carly McGhee of Acworth, GA; sister, Andrea Newcomb; and nephew, Ben Hooper of Unionville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Deason Hammons.
