H. Allen Haislip, 96, of Lewisburg, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late Willie, and Nannie Bell Haislip.
He was employed at Reliance Pencil, Venus Pencil for 17 ½ years, and retired from Mead in 1988 after working 14 years in material handling. He was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jewel Lanier Haislip and three brothers, Harold, G.C. and James Haislip.
He is survived by two sons, Lamarr Haislip of Lewisburg, TN and Mike (Cynthia) Haislip of Mooresville, TN; one brother, Wayne (Glenara) Haislip of Fayetteville, TN; four grandchildren, Chris (Janae) Haislip, Jason (Mary Dariel) Haislip, Tracie (Justin) Foster, Nathan (Erica) Haislip; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home and burial to follow at Lone Oak Cemetery.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
