While the show will go on, it’s going to be a few weeks.
On Wednesday evening Producer Allison Mulliniks informed the cast of the Marshall County Community Theatre production of Grease that this weekends shows would be postponed due to a positive COVID case in the cast.
The three shows, all of which were sold out, will be postponed to Labor Day weekend.
Current tickets will be honored, although there is some change to show times.
The Friday, August 6, show will now take place Saturday, September 4, at 2 p.m.
Tickets for the Saturday, August 7, show will be transferred to Saturday, September 4, at 7 p.m.
The Sunday, August 8, matinee will now take place on Sunday, September 5, at 2 p.m.
Ticket holders unable to attend can request a refund from mcct7529@gmail.com
With many of the leads in the show starting or returning to college next week, the holiday weekend is the best opportunity to reassemble the entire cast.
Mulliniks emphasized that the audience deserved to see the same show and cast that the first weekend audiences had.
