Garry Ray Miller, 69, resident of Nashville, peacefully departed this life on Sept. 25, 2021, at NHC Healthcare-Hendersonville.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at 12 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, from 3 until 6 PM at the funeral home.
Garry was born on Dec. 1, 1951, in Lewisburg, to the late John Henry Miller and the late Martha Louise Miller. He was a member of the New Hope Road Church of Christ in Hendersonville.
A special word to a few close friends that were by Garry’s side throughout the tough times; Mrs. Henry, Tim and Harry. Y’all meant the world to him.
Survivors include his brother, Johnny (Christy) Miller; five nephews, Jimmy Jett, Robby Jett, Johnathon Jett, Joey Miller, Jason Miller; three great nieces that he adored, Rachel E. Jett, Jennifer L. Jett Slavo, Leanna J. Jett Worthen; and one great nephew, Christopher Jett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Patricia Jett and Jimmy Jewel Miller.
Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
