Mrs. Edna Dorlene Winsett Hart, 86, of Lewisburg, TN, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at home surrounded by her husband and two daughters.
A native of Marshall County, she was born on Aug. 25, 1934, to the late Jonas and Cora Lee Winsett. On Aug. 11, 1951, she married the love of her life, Russell Keith Hart, and together, they enjoyed 69 years of marriage. Mrs. Hart was employed by Walmart of Lewisburg for 13 years and retired as an assistant manager. She was a faithful member of Farmington Church of Christ. Dorlene was the beloved mother of four. She was a Christian, a military wife for 20 years, and known as “MawMaw” to many and a loving friend to all she met.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Hart, Farmington comm.; daughters, Cindy (Mike) Barron, Farmington comm., Regina (Dave) Erdley, Lewisburg, TN; fourteen grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special caregivers, Lisa Wing, Sharon Foster and Becky Lancaster.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hart was also preceded in death by a sister, Adele Demumbreum; brother, James Winsett; sons, Charles Baxter Hart II, James Malcolm Hart; and a grandson, Jeremy Keith Uselton.
Family members will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Lesley Shadrick officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
David Erdly, Mike Barron, Andy Carter, Zakk Fann, David Hart and Justyn Hart will serve as pallbearers.
In light of the present Covid Health Crisis, the family has requested that anyone attending visitation or funeral services to please wear a mask.
