We regret to inform you that Dr. Alicia Michelle Marsh, Psy. D., age 53, formerly a resident of Marshall County, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2021, in Washington, D.C.
Michelle, graduated from high school in Birmingham, AL, and went on to achieve her doctorate degree at Howard University. She was the Director of Clinical Psychology at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington D.C.
Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mrs. Gladys and Lee Roy Marsh, and two cousins, Keysha Bean and Craig Marsh. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Marsh; aunt, Carcelia Ann Marsh; uncles, Melvin Marsh of Lewisburg and Roy Marsh; a devoted cousin, Shaun Marsh of Cornersville; and many other relatives and dear friends.
A walk thru visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Family Life Center, 426 Heil Quaker Avenue in Lewisburg. Internment will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Cornersville. Masks and social distancing required.
