Dale Bryant Watkins, age 68, of Lexington, died Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Alton and Pearl Roberts Baugher. He was a Veteran of Vietnam while serving in the Army. He was a retired law enforcement officer, owner of Watkins Gun and Pawn, and security officer with FEMA over Alabama, Mississippi,and Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina. Dale Bryant Watkins, age 68, of Lexington, died Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence.

He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Alton and Pearl Roberts Baugher. He was a Veteran of Vietnam while serving in the Army. He was a retired law enforcement officer, owner of Watkins Gun and Pawn, and security officer with FEMA over Alabama, Mississippi,and Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina. He was a member of the Lexington Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty M. Hargrove Watkins, sisters, Janice (the late Randall) Fagan of North Ridge, OH, Ruth (Billy) Cook, Pat (Michael) Potter, and Connie (the late Don) Newman, all of Lewisburg, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, April 5th, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens’ Hospital.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
