• Jan 16 - 17 - Bake Sale for the Bledsoe Family during the Cornersville High School Basketball games.

• Jan 17 - Family Story Time in Chapel Hill at 10 a.m.

• Jan 17 - Life Song Family Church will be hosting a Men’s Fortified Dinner; city wide, all men are invited. Free food, Friday, Jan. 17, 6 p.m. at the church, 1041 S Ellington Pkwy. Contact the church at 931-359-6112 for more information.

• Jan 18 - Forrest Alumni Association is sponsoring its Annual Trivia Night on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Forrest Auxiliary Gym. Doors open at 6 p.m. (meal provided) and the game begins at 7 p.m. Teams are $72 with a maximum of 6 players. Each player will receive a BBQ plate, drink and dessert. • Jan 20 - Marshall County Memorial Library will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

• Jan 20 - Marshall County Tribune will be open Monday.

• Jan 20 - Marshall County Beekeepers Assn. will meet at the UT Extension Farm on New Lake Road at 6:30 p.m.

• Jan 23 - The fce will meet at 1 p.m. at the Sr. Citizen Center in the Hardison Annex.

• Feb 2 - The Marshall County Historical Society will meet Sunday afternoon, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. in the museum at Hardison School Annex, 230 College Street. Jean Griffin will present the program on the Veterans’ History Project. Jeremy Moorehead, Marshall County Veteran’s Service Officer, will assist with the presentation. The meeting is free and open to the public.
