Betty Lou Russell, 91, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at her residence.
She was a native of Greenbrier, TN, the daughter of the late Joe and Bettie Bollinger Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of the East Commerce Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell, Sr. in 2009.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Kay Head of Lewisburg, Lynn Stocstill of Lewisburg; one son, James “Bubba” Russell, Jr. of Lewisburg; brother, Dick Jones, of Goodlettsville; grandchildren, Joe Stocstill, Bryan Storey, Brooks Cozart, Blake Everett, Blair Douglas, Beth Harper, Jamie Lambert, Chris Anne Sciortino, James “Trey” Russell, III and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at East Commerce Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lone Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital and East Commerce Baptist Church Music Department or Building Fund.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
