Betty Jo Hollingsworth, age 86, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021 at Maury County Regional Health Center.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Willie Burns and Florence Bledsoe. She was a manager for Sullivans and was a member of the East Commerce Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, J.M. Bledsoe, sisters, Francis Harwell, Geneva Bledsoe, and brother, Edwin Burns.
She is survived by sons, Joey (Teresa) Hollingsworth of Lewisburg and Kendall (Patricia, Ileah, Lynda) Hollingsworth, two sisters, Gwen Green of Lewisburg, Ruth Scribner of Peoria, Illinois, grandchildren, Melissa (Ed) Sweeney, Caitlin (J.R.) Bigham, and Bubba (Amy) Hollingsworth, and great-grandchildren, Brantley Hollingsworth, Caraline Hollingsworth, Hudson Sweeney, Bryson Parish, Bennett Parish, and Tanner Bigham. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Lone Oak Cemetery Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow.
The family requests attendees wear masks and observe social distancing.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
